PowerFlex and Power Tape

Alternatives:

  • Underwrap can be used in place of PowerFlex

  • Adhesive Athletic tape or Adhesive stretch tape can be used in place of PowerTape

Taping Overview:

  • Spread thumb and fingers when applying PowerFlex foundation

  • Position thumb in desired degrees of flexion
    Apply 3-4 double layered check-reins

  • Finish with wrist taping and a series of
    C-strips over thumb (creating a hood effect)

  • If using PowerFlex, remove all stretch in application
