Moldable Splinting Sheets
Rolyan San Splints are designed to create moldable, rigid support
splints for the arms, legs, and back. The splints are offered in both solid and perforated sheets; the solid sheets are ideal for maximum support and the perforated sheets are ideal for smaller, more breathable splints. Simply heat the isoprene material in an oven or hot water for 2-3 minutes and begin forming a customized splint.
Rigid Support Splints
The Rolyan San Splints have the maximum resistance to stretch of any Rolyan splinting material. The rubber based isoprene offers rigid support to the the arm, hands, legs, and back. The San Splints are ideal for creating functional position splints, resting mitt splints, back supports, body jackets, and spasticity splints.
The easily workable San Splints are ideal for the fast creation of a customized splint. The splinting sheets can be permanently bonded by pinching the material together after heating. The rubber-base isoprene is not coated, so it eliminates the need to remove coating in order to create a permanent bond. This allows the fabricator to easily bond the splint without additional assistance.
