Non-Invasive Wound Management
The DermaClip Non-Invasive Skin Closure everts the skin for simplified treatment of wounds, lacerations, and surgical incisions without puncturing or crushing the skin. The closure device is free of needles, staples, and glue and promotes healing to help reduce closure time in small and large wounds. The non-invasive device applies in minutes in the clinic or in the field during emergency situations.
Durable and Breathable Adhesive
Utilizing non-latex, breathable alkylate-based adhesive and food-grade plastic closures, the DermaClip is a complete closure device for all types of skin. It effectively maintains adhesive for 7 to 10 days and can be easily removed by patients without the need for follow-up appointments. The versatile closure device treats single-layer wounds or acts as the final closure of deeper wounds and incisions. The "Living Hinge" and adhesive sandwich the sides together to lift and evert the skin.
Design for Small and Large Wounds
The patented design of the DermaClip Non-Invasive Skin Closure is made to spread tension across the entire pad. The regular DermaClip has a slender profile making it ideal for wounds that have curvature, are smaller, or need more precise skin edge approximation. The large DermaClip is recommended for long, straight incisions. They are designed to cover lacerations and incisions approximately 2.5” to 3” (65 mm to 75 mm) in length. However, the regular and large sizes can be used interchangeably to accommodate larger wounds.
