PolyMem Silver
PolyMem Silver Wound Dressings are multifunctional dressings that effectively cleanse, absorb, and moisten wounds during all stages of the healing process. It is composed of a hydrophilic membrane matrix with a semi-permeable polyurethane continuous thin film backing. The absorbent materials allow the wound to maintain a moist healing environment while pulling the wound exudate away from the skin.
Reduce Pathogens and Pain
PolyMem Silver uses small particles of silver within the bandage to kill pathogens in the fluid and deliver an antimicrobial or antibacterial effect. The dressing can also be used to help reduce pain as the non-adherent dressing cares for the wound without sticking to the wound bed. It helps eliminate the need for additional wound bed cleansing during dressing changes.
Indications for Use
The non-adhesive pad can be used as a combined primary and secondary dressing, as a secondary dressing, or even as a dressing under compression. PolyMem is indicated for virtually all wounds at every stage of healing. It is ideal for acute and chronic wounds including diabetic, venous, or pressure ulcers (Stages I–IV), donor and graft sites, skin tears, leg ulcers, and more. The 4.25" square dressing can be cut to size for preferred application needs.
